MELA is the music project around the Viennese duo Simon Bauer and Marius Grimminger, who made their debut in January 2016 with their release Default millions. A year later, at the beginning of 2017, their own production Anxiety EP was released. MELA's sound can be placed between post-rock, dream pop and electronica, with echoing, melancholic guitar riffs, oppressive basses and head vocals shaping MELA's spherical live performance.
