Max Paul Maria
After a quick youth in various punk and hardcore bands in Freiburg, Max Paul Maria began to play small bars and clubs in Berlin in 2009, with his hat and guitar. Looking for the harmonica in his pocket, he told stories of trips along the Amazon and about what it really means to get lost. His version of Dylan's Don't Think Twice It's Alright quickly became famous beyond the borders of Kreuzberg, and with it Maria's reputation to put his soul on the table during concerts, only to encorporate it back into himself, with help of enough eau de vie. After hundreds of concerts throughout all of Europe, 2013 brought his first collection of his own songs, Miles & Gallons, mostly written and recorded in his Lisbon exile. Until 2015, he was touring the world as the guitarist and singer of the gypsy punk band Diving For Sunken Treasures, since 2016 he has been on the road with the Berlin based street pop band Vizediktator.
