Mauerpark
In the past, the Mauerpark was the site of the Berlin Wall, which divided Berlin, Germany and the whole world into two parts. At this historic site is now the Mauerpark, a green space in the middle of Berlin between the districts of Wedding and Prenzlauer Berg.
On Sundays, Berlin's largest flea market attracts locals and tourists from all over the world to the park. In summer, the famous open-air karaoke event takes place, with barbecues and sunbathing alongside musical entertainment. In addition, numerous street artists, musicians and visitors can be found in Mauerpark. There is also a basketball court on the grounds, which brings together the sporty visitors.
