Marta Wajdzik Quartet
Marta Wajdzik is a young Polish saxophonist and clarinetist. For years she has been associated with the Bielska Zadymka Jazz Festival. Marta is also a laureate of many prestigious awards including the Young Jazz and Blues Bands in Gdynia, the Grand Prix of the Junior Młyn Jazz Festival or the Artistic Education Centre for jazz bands in Warsaw. Some of the most acclaimed jazz musicians in Poland took part in recording her album My Planet. The musical director and pianist of the project is Paweł Tomaszewski, Dean of the Jazz and Light Music Department of the Music Academy in Katowice.
