Marco Duits
Marco Duits is co-founder and one of the owners of Chengdu's underground venue Tag, besides running the Paradise Records imprint. He separates his time between Chengdu and The Hague in the Netherlands. Originally starting as a vinyl collector, Marco became a DJ after discovering inspirations from the early rave scene in the Netherlands in the 90s. As one of the kids of the first rave generation he developed a deep passion for house music and got involved in organizing underground squat parties throughout the country.
Today, he has left the time of illegal parties behind himself and focuses on the music like never before. As one of the driving forces behing Chengdu's Tag he has hosted countless events in China. Spanning various styles over the years, including techno, house, afro, acid, funk, disco and Italo, Marco has formed his own balance of all these styles merged to warm, soulful DJ sets.
