Magdalena Duś
Magdalena Duś is a pianist-cameralist, a graduate of Hanna Kryjak's piano class at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. Since 2012 she teaches a chamber music class at the Academy. She has received several awards and distinctions for pianist-accompanist, including the Individual Award of the Director of the Artistic Education Centre for special contribution to the development of artistic education in Poland. Together with saxophonist Bartłomiej Dus, she forms the duo MagDus, which has an album Malinconico released by the German label Classic Clips. In 2015, with clarinetist Arkadiusz Adamski and cellist Marcin Zdunik, Magdalena Duś recorded an album of chamber works by Johannes Brahms, while in 2017, together with oboist David Walter, she recorded chamber works of the Romantic era arranged for oboe and piano. Both albums were released by the DUX label.
