Luna, born Alina Striedl, is a German singer. In 2018 she took part in the Dein Song für eine Welt competition of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Her song Alle gleich zusammen with Mika made it into the top 20 and was released on the album for the competition. A year later the young musician published her first single Viel leichter. In 2020 she took part in Dein Song für eine Welt again. Her song Mutter Erde reached third place in the competition and was thus also released on the Eine Welt album. When she published a 50-second piano version of her song Verlierer on the video platform TikTok, musicians such as Nico Santos, Fynn Kliemann, Julien Bam, die Lochis and Lea became aware of the video and the song. In December 2020, the single entered the German single charts at number three.
