Ludwig Quandt

Ludwig Quandt has been the first solo cellist of the Berliner Philharmoniker since 1993. He also performs as solo artist as well as a chamber musician worldwide and is a member of various philharmonic ensembles.

Quandt has won several international competitions. Among others, he was a prize winner of the ARD Competition and 1st prize winner of the Premio Stradivari at the International Cello Competition Roberto Caruana in Cremona.
