Living
Living is the project of Bergen-based producer and artist Lucas de Almeida. It started in 2015 as a solo project, but soon picked up bassist Nora Tårnesvik(Marbe Pools) and drummer Sturla Kverneng (Hvitmalt Gjerde) for itsenergetic live performances. Living has already released two singles,"Cerulean", the latest of which, is out now on all platforms. The band ispreparing to release a third single, "Risen" in the spring of 2016 via BrillianceRecords.
Livings music is hard to describe, ebbing and flowing in and out of many styles and genres. The music is best appreciated live, where improvisation and playfulness rule. Living creates music for the body and soul by blending psychedelic and dreamy harmonies and melodies with groovy and tropical rhythms. It is a fusion of electronic and organic heard best with lots of room for movement and dance.
