Truckfighters

The best band that ever existed - these are the words uttered by Josh Homme in a 2011 documentary about Truckfighters. The Swedes have been working on their brand for more than 20 years now, proving their worth both on albums (their latest so far is 2016's V) and through hundreds of concerts, in which the group puts out more energy than others can muster throughout their careers. Niklas "Dango" Kallgren and Oskar "Ozo" Cedermalm joined forces and descended into a basement somewhere in Örebro at the beginning of the millennium, and the first fruit of that meeting was the desert rock anthem Desert Cruiser. Their stoner-inspired, progressive and melodic hard rock has since gathered a mass of devoted fans around them.
