The Cat Empire

The Cat Empire are an Australian ska and jazz band formed in 1999. Their sound is a fusion of jazz, ska, funk and rock with heavy Latin influences.

The original line-up of the band ended at the turn of 2021 and 2022. In addition to founding members Felix Reible and Ollie McGill, the new line-up features bassist and singer Grace Barbé, drummer Daniel Farrugia, percussionist Neda Rahmani, and the brass section consists of Kieran Conrau (trombone, cornets) and trumpeters Ross Irwin and Lazaro Numa.

The latest record and at the same time the first record of the new line-up was released on August 25, 2023 and is called Where The Angels Fall.
