Smetana Trio

Smetana Trio is a chamber trio playing the classic line-up piano, violin and cello, which was founded in 1934 by pianist Josef Páleníček with whom he played a violinist and cellist Alexander Plocek Frantisek Smetana, they were leading Czech soloists of the time. Artistic guarantor of the Smetana Trio was Josef Páleníček, performer, composer and music educator. Modern Smetana Trio has for its members who are outside of your skill solo players also feel a sense of collective game, extraordinary successes. Becoming a regular guest at major music festivals in the Czech Republic (Prague Spring, Janacek May) and abroad (France, Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Japan, Brazil). In common with orchestras performing together with famous conductors such as Jiri Belohlavek, Libor Pesek, Stanislav Vavřínek, John Axelrod and Michael Boder.
