Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys

Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys is an art pop/alternative band based in Berlin. The group, founded by South African-born artist Lucy Kruger, is known for creating music full of atmosphere and intensity. Their prolific output and memorable live shows have attracted attention from both audiences and critics alike. Lucy Kruger started playing live shows in South Africa after finishing her Honours Degree in Drama at Rhodes University (2012). After the release of her debut album, Summer’s Not That Simple (2015), the band was booked by some of the country's most respected live music festivals, including Endless Daze, Oppikoppi, Rocking The Daisies, and Up The Creek.

In 2018, Lucy Kruger relocated to Berlin, where she was picked up by German-based label Unique Records and publishing house Schubert Records. The two signed Lucy Kruger and released her second full-length album, Sleeping Tapes for Some Girls. In 2020, Lucy Kruger developed a concept for two albums that would follow Sleeping Tapes for Some Girls, completing a trilogy. The second album in the trilogy, Transit Tapes For Women Who Move Furniture Around) was released in 2021 and launched at Astra Kulturhaus. Their third album in the tapes series, Teen Tapes (For Performing Your Own Stunts) was released in April 2022 at Lido in Berlin and was followed by a European tour.
