Patrycja Ziniewicz
Patrycja Ziniewicz is a Polish singer. The beginnings of her musical path were not easy – the girl had a speech impediment and poor diction, but her persistence and willingness to make many sacrifices made her follow her dreams. Thanks to hard work, from the age of 13 she honed her vocal abilities, gathered experience of working on stage and also earned money to make her dream come true after 11 years. Already as a teenager, she performed in youth musicals staged by the Stage School in Białystok, and took part in a concert at the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic. She studied at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk at the Faculty of Vocal and Acting, specialising in musicals. She takes part in university projects such as: *Love and more nothing. A concert of Jacques Brel's songs, a revue *Funny girls_, a concert Musicale, musicals in Mazovian Musical Theatre or a musical Godspell directed by Miłosz Gałaj. Until recently she has also collaborated with the Gdynia Symphony Orchestra on the projects Bajeczne piosenki, Abba symfonicznie and Mała trójmiejska maskarada. Her debut album, both as a singer and producer, is List do czarnego anioła, featuring songs from the repertoire of Ewa Demarczyk. The project itself originated in 2018 and was conceived as a single concert in Sopot, but was so well received that the band played it on. The final shape of the arrangements and the jazz form you can listen to on the album are a resultant of Patrycja's sensitivity, ideas tossed around by fellow musicians playing with her on the album and Igor Budaj's excellent ear.
