Lionel Loueke

Lionel Meadows is a West African jazz guitarist and singer, who in addition to the band worked with Terence Blanchard and Herbie Hancock. Meadows combines harmonic complexity, soaring melody and deep knowledge of African folk molds with conventional and extended guitar technique, creating a warm and evocative own sound.
