Lado na wsi: Miłosz Pękala + Macio Moretti + more

As part of the July edition of the concert cycle Lado na Wsi will be presented the latest, remaining in the avant-garde circle, compositions for percussion solo with the accompaniment of the electronic layer - Miłosz Pękala Solo. In the second part of the concert, Miłosz Pękala's band will present the repertoire from the album Baazaar - the phonographic debut of the outstanding Polish vibraphonist Jerzy Milian. The premiere performance of the program took place during the celebration of this year's International Jazz Day and was warmly received by the public and critics. Miłosz Pękala is a graduate of the percussion class at the Academy of Music. F. Chopin in Warsaw in the percussion class. He also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen under the supervision of prof. Gerta Mortensen. In 2019 he received the title of habilitated doctor in the field of musical arts. In 2015, together with the members of the Kwadrofonik quartet, he received the Polityka Paszport. For many years he has participated in many concerts, festivals and various artistic projects covering both contemporary, entertainment and ethnic music. On a daily basis, he collaborates with Kwadrofonik quartet, Pękala Kordylasińska percussion band, Mitch & Mitch band.
