LaBrassBanda

2017 was an exceptional year for the folk music madmen LaBrassBanda. Stefan Dettl and his colleagues took the title of their album, Around The World, as an occasion to literally tour around the world. Beginning in Vietnam, Hong Kong and Tokio across Australia, New Zealand and America to Brazil, Portugal and Morocco. That their energy-loaded Bavarian brass music with elements of ska, reggae and punk works all over the world was proven again and again. Back home, they sold out the Olympia Hall in Munich, followed by a summer between big festivals and countless concrts during their LaBrassBanda beer tent tour with more than 100.000 visitors.

Once the LaBrassBanda express is rolling, it can no longer be stopped. Traditionals celebrate with hipsters, boys in Lederhosen celebrate the same as girls in Motörhead shirts. Who wants to experience catchy folk music without clichés is right on the beer tent tour, which will be prolonged in 2018.
