Księżyc

The history of the group dates back to 1990. Three girls, whose common passion was beauty, harmony and singing, decided to adopt the name Księżyc (Moon): their compositions avoid solutions calculated for a quick effect. The motifs are obsessively repeated, so that at first subtle, even ethereal, with time they reveal the disturbing nerve lurking in them. Księżyc is now considered almost a legendary band on the Polish scene. They easily combine Slavic folk with psychedelia. The band has played at many cult festivals, such as HCMF - Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Kraak in Brussels and Café OTO in London.
