Forever Amy

Forever Amy is a music project celebrating the music and work of the one and only Amy Winehouse. The project was created by musicians who created the original band Amy Winehouse, recording albums with her and performing on stage. The project was headed by Dale Davis, Amy's music director and bass player, and a privately long-time friend of the artist, who together with Amy's keyboardist Richard Cardwell decided to create a music project that will cultivate Amy Winehoue's musical heritage in the most authentic way possible. Participation in the project was quickly confirmed by other members of Amy's band: Hawie Gondwe, her guitarist, Nathan Allen drummer, Ben Edwards trumpeter and Jim Hunt saxophonist, flute player and arranger; responsible for one of the most characteristic sounds in Amy's songs. The musicians invited the talented soul and jazz singer Albe Plano, who reflects the charisma of Amy without losing her own personality. The band was complemented by Dominic Glover, one of the best trumpet players in London. The project became a sensation in 2017 in Great Britain. After a 2-year break, it begins a European tour which will include over 70 concerts. Forever Amy takes the audience on a sentimental and beautiful journey through the extraordinary musical world of Amy Winehouse. The tour will be guided by musicians and long-time friends of Amy who have helped to create her unique timeless style and sound. The concert has an excellent visual setting. During the concert you can hear and see unique recordings of Amy Winehouse, interviews, recorded fragments of her life.
