KMPFSPRT

2017 was a year of breather for KMPFSPRT. The guys from Cologne, who have been pushing the pedal with their (post-) hardcore/punk since the beginning of their band history, can now look back on two albums, an EP and a split 7 "with BOYSETSFIRE. In addition there were lots of tours and shows with scene greats like Jennifer Rostock, Saves The Day, A Wilhelm Scream or Adam Angst, countless festivals of Melt! to Bochum Total and a total of over 200 concerts in every conceivable capacity: from the small punk rock club to the big hall.

So it's a good time to switch gears back and reflect where the journey is going. Explained goal: Gaijin. The Japanese word for outsiders, which can also be translated as Mensch from outside, is the title of KMPFSPRT's third album. It describes the current, often subliminal negative colored attitude to life in all its consequences: whether election successes of the AfD, police violence or the disinterest of a hipster generation, which only revolves around itself – KMPFSPRT comment on the social reality with the directness known by them. With the album, they invite anyone who just does not really know where he belongs, but has a positive goal in mind and also longs for less hate and limits, even in people's minds.
