The Club der Visionäre is located directly at the stream of the Landwehr canal between Kreuzberg and the Treptow Park.
In a way, Club der Visionäre is more of a bar or after hour venue than a classical club: The entry fee is usually cheap, on the dance floor there is space for approximately 50 people and the music is comparably quiet. Most of the visitors are sitting on the sun terrace of the place during warm summer days.
The booking policy is rather laid-back: The electronic lineup is often scheduled only one or two weeks before and spontaneous DJ sets are a common thing. The opening hours depend a lot on weather and the count of visitors, but on highly frequented weekends the club can be opened from Friday to Monday without break.
During the winter time the club remains closed, in summer however it is opened daily and events usually begin already in the afternoon. In case of music minimal techno dominates the program at Club der Visionäre in contrast to other techno clubs in Berlin. Famous DJs that played there in the past are for example Richie Hawtin or Ricardo Villalobos.
Other locations that belong to the club, that counts to the 100 best in the world, are also the locations Hoppetosse, Rosengarten, Anhalt, Bootshaus and Rhein, that can all be rented for private or corporate events.
