Kim Nowak
Kim Nowak is a garage rock band formed in 2009 by guitarist Michal Sobolewski and brothers Emade and Fisz Waglewski, previously known primarily for their hip-hop project Tworzywo Sztuczne. They released their eponymous debut album in 2010, with a sparse sound influenced heavily by 1960s psych rock; their sophomore LP Wilk was released in 2012. Kim Nowak returned to the stage after a decade as a quartet; bassist Staszek Wróbel joined the lineup. In October 2023, their third album, My, was released, representing, in the group's words, an excursion into ethereal stories, mature sounds and sincere emotions.
