Kendal
Kendal is a French DJ who combines in his sets Italo-disco with EBM, rave and synth-wave. With his productions discovered by David Vunk in 2019, he sets the scene on his first maxi Manifesto, a modern version of the 80s / 90s euphoria sound wrapped in a macabre beauty straight from Dario's Argentos Giallos. The EP caused a sensation and quickly sold out. The title track Ultimo was self-described as an "iconic Italo disco dance classic" by the head of Moustache Records.
From then on he gained the recognition of David Carretta, which ended in several collaboration tracks, and Jennifer Cardini recorded him for his second work on her label Dischi Autunno. The Inferno EP was enthusiastically received worldwide, far beyond the Italo scene, and the two Italo-disco smashes Intacto and Moresko were quickly played by many renowned acts such as DJ Hell, Ellen Allien, Skatebard or Gerd Janson.
