Kayan Project
As Kayan Project, Berlin-based musicians from Israel, Syria, Poland, the United Kingdom and Iran exist as an extraordinary ensemble that singer Eden Cami has gathered around her. The young formation of Arabic oud, double bass and percussion, complemented by piano, trumpet and Iranian kamancheh combines classical and modern music as well as poetry of the Levant with elements of jazz, which Eden Cami interweaves with her Arabic and Hebrew singing.
