Katarzyna Duda
Polish violinist active in classical music and jazz. She studied in Tibor Varga's violin master class at Ecole Supérieure de Musique in Sion, Switzerland, and under Jan Stanienda at the Academy of Music in Warsaw, from which she graduated with honours. She was a scholarship holder of, among others, the Interlochen Academy of Arts in the United States. She is a laureate of the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition and the Tadeusz Wroński International Solo Violin Competition. The Violin Summit concert, in which she performed alongside Konstanty Kulka, Krzesimir Debski and Michał Urbaniak, received the highest accolade in the Pomeranian Voivodeship – the 2003 Pomeranian Gryf Art Award in the "Artistic Event" category. In 2003, she was nominated for Polityka Passport Award for Classical Music.
