Kassian
Kassian is a British DJ duo consisting of Warren Cummings and Joe Danvers, fusing house, techno and electronica. The title track from their 2019 official debut EP The Premise on Detroit Swindle's Heist Recordings was nominated for Track of the Year at Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards. The pair then entered into a lasting relationship with legendary London record label and store Phonica Records, joining an esteemed roster of artists* such as Peggy Gou and Midland who have released multiple EPs on the Phonica White label.
Having blazed a respected trail with releases on notable labels, Kassian is now pushing their sound through their 2022 imprint Faux Poly at their 38East studio, evolving their sound with a heavier hardware focus, creating a new outlet for themselves and other artists. Their debut EP Chance is Our Greatest Ally was released in early 2022 to great acclaim, laying the foundation for the label and kicking off a series of events with Percolate.
