Karl Hlamkin & DZO is a bubbly world music mix that has been shaping since the mid-80s. From contemporary cabaret, Russian chanson, Ukrainian Kolomeika's and Jewish klezmer's dances to diverse Latino rhythms and Balkan melodies, peppered with energetic speed polka, a generous dose of danceable jazz and all sculpted with ska hands. In addition, there is an excellent cast of former musicians from Russian cult bands such as Leningrad, Messer für Frau Müller and Verbotene Trommler.
