Julianna Bloodgood

Originally from California, USA and a permanent resident of Poland since 2009, she is immersed in a unique theatrical genre that she describes as post-Grotowski Polish theatre. An expert in this field, she is regularly invited to teach, collaborate and perform internationally. Julianna is a singer, actress, physicaltheatre artist and educator, and her work includes anthropological performative research. She has travelled extensively around the world in search of cultural perspectives related to the body, voice and performance. The core of her work is exploring the relationship between the body and the voice and how this can be applied to artistic performance and composition.
