Júlia Masnicová

Júlia is an accordionist and singer from Slovakia. She graduated from the Academy of Music in Krakow. She began her musical education in Slovakia at the First Level Music School (Bytča) and continued at the Conservatory (Žilina). During her studies she actively performed at public concerts of the school, various vernissages. At present, she has a repertoire that allows her to combine her two passions: accordion and singing. She has been singing since childhood. As a child she performed in folk ensembles, in 2014 she represented Slovak folk music in Reinsberg, Austria, and actively sang in the Žilina mixed choir from Slovakia, where she performed with them in countries such as Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany. She is a participant of the vocal competition - Česko-Slovenská Superstár. She currently gives concerts in Slovakia, Poland and the Czech Republic, and her repertoire consists of Slovak folk music, Gypsy, Jewish, Spanish, tango and her own compositions.
