John and the Locals

Nepalese alt rock band that draws on pop, classical and folk. They are inspired by their personal experiences, cultural heritage, and the people and places that have shaped their lives. The group's frontman John Chamling Rai made waves in the music industry producing several YouTube hits that have gone viral, including Hawa Jastai, Farkanna Hola and Nihita.
