Jazmin Bean
Jazmin Bean was born in February 2003 and is based in London. Bean has been making music since she was 15, and if the founding myth is to be believed, xier rubbed a real chicken liver over her body while singing at her first gig. The first singles were released in 2019. While War Zone Urchin still mixed screamo parts with hyperpop elements, the follow-up Pesticides already showed that xier could also do pure pop. The first full-length EP, Worldwide Torture, was released in November 2020, with eleven tracks and emo elements, pop-punk and grunge despair. Xier's biggest hit to date, Hello Kitty, is an abysmal declaration of love to the world-famous Japanese cat.
