Jan Sahara Hedl

Rock | Jan Sahara Hedl, sometimes abbreviated as only the Sahara is a Czech singer, lyricist and songwriter, former member of the groups the precedent or mental grave. He has released several albums, of which singlových with the greatest success was the third album, the mother of a zebra.

Since childhood, played the piano and later studied art at Central School of decorative arts in Prague, where he met with Martin Lang. Along with him, he founded the Mental grave and not long after, then a precedent. Hedl from a group of retired in 1984. Ten years later, he released his first solo album called Secret Holy and right in the following year he again teamed up with the band and its entourage of precedent, he recorded the album Crazy Monday. His latest album is the mother of Zebra from the year 2001. Further is also the author of the texts to muzikálům Excalibur (2003) and the picture of Dorian Gray (2006). It is also the author of several texts for Luboš Pospíšil.
