Jakob Bro
Jakob Bro is a Danish jazz guitarist and composer. Bro is a former member of Paul Motian & The Electric Bebop Band (featured on Garden of Eden, 2006) and of Tomasz Stanko’s Dark Eyes Quintet (Dark Eyes, 2009). He has released 16 records as a bandleader – 6 of which came out on ECM – including musicians like Bill Frisell, Lee Konitz, Kenny Wheeler and many more. His most recent project was 2022's Once Around the Room, a collaboration with saxophonist Joe Lovano intended as homage to Paul Motian.
