Jahcoustix did not only gain an international reputation with numerous collaborations (e.g. with Shaggy, Gentleman, Horace Silver, …) but also is one of the most booked reggae artists in Germany.
Growing up in Mexico, Liberia, New York, Kenya and Egypt, his childhood and youth were almost like a nomad's life. The diversity of cultures surrounding Jahcoustix made a great impact on him and his worldview.
Jahcoustix discovered reggae music at Kenya and started to write and compose his own songs by the age of 16. After returning to Germany he decided to dedicate his life to music and begun a journey, that has brought him and his songs around half of the world since then.
Jahcoustix released six studio albums and played more than 1.000 live shows over the past decade.
