Isbells is a Belgian music group from Leuven that revolves around singer-songwriter Gaëtan Vandewoude. The group mainly plays melancholic, folk-like pop songs. Isbells was created under the impetus of singer-songwriter Gaëtan Vandewoude who started his own project after backing vocals with various bands. The group released its self-titled debut album in 2009. After this album was positively received, they were nominated for an MIA in the Best newcomer category. In March 2012 the second album Stoalin was released. In 2015 came album number three, entitled Billy.
