Horowitz is Schmutzki bassist Dany Horowitz's new project. After almost ten years with Schmutzki as a bassist and songwriter, Dany Horowitz shows a completely different side with his solo project: melodic songs condense folk, punk and wave into a melancholic atmosphere between euphoria and abyss. Together with his recently formed band, Horowitz presents a wide musical spectrum from distorted energy outbursts to fragile passages in which piano and acoustic guitar dominate. The German texts - poetic yet direct - deal with the bitter-sweet abysses of existence and are presented in a multifaceted manner by Horowitz's unusual voice.
