Holly Herndon
Holly Herndon, also known as Holly+, is an American composer, musician and artist. Holly studied composition at Stanford University and holds a PhD in Music and Acoustics from the same university. Holly+ was developed by the artist in 2021 as a digital twin, mixing up her previous releases.
Her music features vocal voices and various technologies such as the Voice Model, which create computer-based custom instruments and vocal processes. Holly Herndon released her first album Car in 2011, the next album Movement in 2012 and finally Proto followed in 2019.
