After numerous experiments, whether in the trio or with an eight-member, international big band, Henrik Freischlader now returns to where everything has started for him - blues. The love of handmade music, especially to blues and soul, connects the five musicians who skilfully and easily play their musical balls. Drummer Moritz Meinschäfer likes dry sounds and reliable grooves. Armin Alic on bass completes the foundation of the band with filigree pumping bass lines and forms the bridge to the surface. To describe Roman Babik as versatile on the keys would still be grossly understated. Hammond organ, Rhodes, Wurlitzer, piano, everything is possible.
