Heidra
They combine folk playing with elements of black metal and classic heavy. They were founded in 2006 in Copenhagen. Unlike many Scandinavian folk and metal groups, the Danes sing in English. They do not use traditional instruments, but they focus on typical rock instruments. Heidra is a dynamic, melodious compositions in which a blackish screams with beautiful, pure singing intertwines, an epic atmosphere, so common in power metal and heavy, with a touch of melancholy and brutality. Sometimes you get the impression that someone crossed Grand Magus with Dimmu Borgir and replaced Iron Maiden. That such connections can be really interesting and engaging, says music Heidry on the album The Blackening Tide released in 2018. It was recorded by: Morten Bryld (vocals, acoustic guitar), Martin W. Jensen (guitars), Carlos GR (guitars), Dennis Stockmarr (drums) and James H. Atkin (bass guitar).
