Grober Knüppel
Grober Knüppel is a German hardcore band from the Ruhr region, that was formed in 2006. Musically the band is oriented on hardcore, punk, metal and hip hop from the 90s.
After a couple of demo recordings the band signed a record contract with Asphalt Records in 2008 and published the album Der Hölle ein Licht. In October 2010 they published the second album Unbeugsam as a limited digipack, which was sold out after just a couple of weeks and in 2011 it reached the 14th place on the 'Metal-Rock-Charts Germany'.
Since 2014 Grober Knüppel has been active again in a new formation. Their album Angepisster deutscher Albtraum was released in 2014 as well.
