Glacier
Portland's Glacier, a traditional power metal band, exploded into the American Northwest's metal scene in the early 1980s. They released their debut self-titled EP in 1985; the record, which proved especially popular in Europe, was their only official release before disbanding in 1990. In 2016, former Glacier vocalist Michael Podrybau formed Devil in Disguise to perform Glacier's music; since 2018, the outfit has been using the Glacier name, since releasing a full length album and an EP under it.
