Freak de l'Afrique
Freak de l'Afrique is a Berlin-based collective of DJs, MCs, dancers and event managers who share a passion for Africa's modern club sound.
The movement started in 2012 when the first members of the collective hosted their first party called Afro Heat at the legendary Cookies nightclub. In the following years, more and more members* joined the group and played national and international gigs all over Europe and Africa.
Today Freak de l'Afrique hosts some of the biggest club nights in Germany such as Cirque de l'Afrique, Black Paper, Bantu's Diary & The Afro House Xperience.
