Follow Rivers
Follow Rivers is Polish indie folk duo Patrycja and Krzysztof Pachólski. Together with their unusual and warm vocals and guitar, both acoustic and electric, they create a homely atmosphere at which it is easy to be moved. In their lyrics, they reveal their sensitivity to the world around them, touching on things that go unnoticed in the rush of life. They often sing together to create a variety of harmonies, sometimes reaching for the ukulele. Their inspiration comes from bands such as Angus & Julia Stone, Edward Sharpe & Magnetic Zeros, Paula & Karol and Apple Blossom.
They began their adventure together in 2016 as a street band. Gathering quite a crowd in the Wrocław market, they decided to create their own songs, but kept some of them in a drawer for several years. In 2020, they were ripe to take music seriously. They expanded the line-up to include a drummer (Dawid Piątkowski) and released their first single Enough on 29 January 2021, along with a music video in a wild field.
