Eva Pilarová, legendary Czech singer and queen of swing. During her long singing career, she sang many famous hits, most popular and favorite were her duets with Waldemar Matuska, but sang with Karel Gott. She was a member of the Prague theater Semaphore, where she performed with the legendary pair of Jiri Suchy and Jiri Šlitr. It is a singer endowed with a very beautiful, strong and attractive color, absolutely unmistakable voice – a soprano range of three octaves, also rich in excellent vocal technique. With the passing years has increasingly focused primarily on the genre of jazz and swing area.
