Elijah Fox
Elijah Fox is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer living in Los Angeles. He grew up in Durham, North Carolina, and began playing piano at the age of 11, being mentored by Yusuf Salim, a pianist who played with Charlie Parker. Fox studied piano at Oberlin Conservatory under Sullivan Fortner, Billy Hart, Dan Wall and Gary Bartz. His composition East Village was used by Drake and 21 Savage on the song Major Distribution, reaching number three on the Billboard chart. Fox has also recorded and produced tracks for artists such as SZA, Masego, YG, ScHoolboy Q, Denzel Curry, Tate McCrae, Musiq Soulchild, Childish Gambino, Kali Uchis, J. Cole and many more. He also regularly shares original releases and sample packs. He is also a touring keyboardist for British percussionist Yussef Dayes. His music combines elements of jazz, impressionism and psychedelic soul. Fox also releases instrumental music under the pseudonym Soren Sostrom.
