Elena Sonenshine & Jocose Jazz
Jocose Jazz band's sound is dominated by the voice of the Czech jazz singer who studied at the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston. Elena regularly performs at jazz festivals abroad, and her excellent debut album, You Go To My Head even released in the U.S.. Jocose Jazz repertoire includes both his own compositions, including interesting jazz arrangements of folk songs and classical standards of AC Jobim, TF Waller and H. Silver, always personalized style and nástrojovému occupation groupings.
Exceptional connection between the singer and her teammates are given by long-term cooperation, almost empathetic interplay excelling especially in improvisational passages. Elena performed between 2005 and 2009 in the concert series "Jazz at the Castle", and in 2005 toured the Czech Republic as an ambassador of the Philips International Jazz Festival, a year later played at the festival Prague Spring in 2007 and 2008, again partly resided in the U.S..
