Ekuz Kirkifàzy
The ensemble named Ekuz Kirkifàzy was founded in the spring of 2019. It consists of two groups: Igor Wiśniewski, Grzegorz Tarwid, Krzysztof Szmańda. Ekuz Kirkifàzy is a Hungarian printer who is passionate about sculpture, precisely artistic welding of copper. He began his career in 1995, becoming a laureate of the International Welding Competition in Prague. In later years, his works appeared at many prestigious festivals, including the 2003 Venice Biennale. His works have been appreciated by Gyorgy Ligeti, Ivan Fischer, Hősök as well as Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski, O.S.T.R. and Maciej Kuroń. The trio's works are in no way inspired by the work of Ekuz.
