Dutch Connection is a unique fusion of musical minds Doelmana Erika and Andrew Thelonious Monk Štveráček reminiscent of John Coltrane Quartet-end of the 50th years.
Born in the Netherlands, Erik Doelman one of the most respected jazz pianists and composers in Western Europe. His unique style benefits from the American jazz tradition, especially Theloniuse Monk and Duke Ellington. It works great for concerts throughout Europe, he recorded many albums, both under his own name. One of the last "Erik Doelman Plays Cole Porter" includes singer Fae Claessen, the famous American trumpeter John Marshall and the Dutch drum legend John Engels.
