Finding musical inspiration in nature, Don Zilla grew up as an autodidact, teaching himself to play various acoustic instruments. He first started performing professionally in 2003, playing traditional music and touring villages in East-Africa. Today his music can be heard igniting dancefloors across Kampala. Don Zilla is a studio manager and Boutiq Studios in the heart of the city, a key pillar in Uganda’s vital music scene.
