Founded in 2011, DieOrdnungDerDinge is a Berlin-based ensemble of actor-musicians dedicated to developing new forms of musical theater in a highly visual, often playful way, finding its own poetic and humorous style. The strength of the ensemble lies in its versatility; the members have backgrounds in music, composition, acting, and visual arts.
DieOrdnungDerDinge start from an expanded concept of music. Thus the ensemble understands not only sound, but also light, movement, things and words as music. The boundary between musical and scenic form is fluid. During the lockdown, the ensemble developed new digital formats that make contemporary music accessible to a wider audience.
